Events

SADGAs primary events are Forums and Cropwalks.

The SADGA Forum is held in March at two locations of the highly productive durum growing regions of southern Australia those being the Mid North and in the South East of South Australia or the West Wimmera. Information provided to growers and stakeholders on the day cover new durum, cereal and legume variety releases and their performance, trial reports and research outcomes, new chemical applications and results from crop trials, disease research and the all important answers to the quest of growing durum and attaining DR1. Speakers at the forums comprise of Trials Researchers, Industry On-sellers, Representative Organisations and Growers.

The SADGA Cropwalks are held in September and October at the research sites in the Mid North at Roseworthy and in various locations within the South East of South Australia near Wolseley and Bordertown and across the border in the West Wimmera near Kaniva. Each trial site will have many different trial plots, however our cropwalks will focus on new and established durum varieties, chemical effectiveness, disease suppression and alternative crop solutions of wheat, barley, oats and legumes.

Keep an eye out for the event dates and our SADGA socials and mark them in your diary.
